Top 5 Business Apps on Android in Ghana Q2 2022

During the second quarter of 2022, the performance of the top five business apps on the Android platform in Ghana, as reported by Sensor Tower, displayed diverse trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Zoom Workplace saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting at around 12K at the beginning of April and experiencing a dip to 9.2K by the end of May. However, it rebounded to approximately 15K by the end of June. Weekly revenue for the app varied modestly, peaking at $6 in the first week of June. The app maintained a strong presence with weekly active users increasing from 243K at the end of March to 258K by the end of June.

Google Chat experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 7.5K in late March and peaking at 10.7K by mid-April before a slight decline to 6.8K in early June. The app's active users grew consistently, from 27K in late March to 42.5K by the end of June.

Google Primer had a notable spike in downloads, reaching 14K in mid-April before stabilizing between 4.5K and 8.6K in the following weeks. The app also saw an increase in weekly active users, peaking at 13.6K in mid-April and maintaining a steady level around 5K to 8K throughout the quarter.

Oze initially enjoyed high weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 17.6K in mid-April, followed by a sharp decline to just 141 by the end of June. Despite this, the app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 16.5K to 30K.

Lastly, Microsoft Teams showed relatively stable download numbers, starting at 4.5K at the end of March and ending at 3.1K by the end of June. The app's active users saw minor fluctuations but remained strong, ranging from 47.4K to 53.9K throughout the quarter.
